More about me
Howdy! I’m Tommie Gieger, an Industrial Distribution student at Texas A&M University with a strong passion for leadership, technical sales, and organizational development. Through my role as a Campus Manager with University Tees, I manage the full sales cycle. This includes building relationships with student organizations, leading outreach efforts, and helping bring projects to life, including designing and producing polos for organizations like SEED. I’ve also developed strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills through balancing multiple client accounts and consistently delivering results. As a semifinalist in the TIES Sales Showdown, I’ve been able to apply these skills in a competitive setting and continue growing in consultative and technical selling.
On campus, I am deeply involved in student organizations that focus on growth and development. I currently serve as the TIES Operations & Logistics Competition Officer and Marketing Officer for the Society of Engineering Education & Development (SEED), where I help drive engagement, coordinate initiatives, and expand opportunities for students to gain real-world experience. I also contributed as an Advanced Technical Sales Coach this semester, mentoring students in communication, strategy, and professional development. Additionally, I am an active member of Kappa Kappa Gamma, where I previously held a position supporting new member engagement and chapter involvement. Long term, I aim to build a career where I can combine leadership, relationship-building, and strategic thinking to make a meaningful impact and continue growing into a role that drives both team and organizational success.
