More about me

Howdy! I’m Tito Resto, an Industrial Distribution student at Texas A&M University with a strong interest in technical sales, supply chain operations, and relationship-driven business. Through my experience as a Student Coach in the IDIS 330 sales lab, I helped mentor students in developing their selling skills and preparing for competitive environments like the TIES Sales Showdown. I previously competed in the TIES Sales Showdown myself, earning fourth place out of over 200 students, which pushed me to refine my consultative selling and negotiation skills under pressure. I’ve also gained hands-on industry experience as a Supply Chain Intern at University of Texas Medical Branch, where I worked closely with procurement and operations teams to better understand the flow of goods from manufacturer to end user. These experiences have strengthened my ability to communicate effectively, think strategically, and adapt in fast-paced, real-world environments.

Beyond the classroom, I’ve built a strong foundation in operations and problem-solving through roles that required both responsibility and initiative. I am on the executive board of my fraternity Delta Tau Delta (ΔΤΔ), where my role is to serve as the head of the judicial board and enforce the rules and values that we govern ourselves under. Additionally, I currently work as the Corporate Relations Officer for the Society of Engineering Education & Development (SEED), where I manage the accounts of all the company sponsors and industry partners that we have involved with SEED. With a background that blends sales, operations, and leadership, I’m driven to pursue a career where I can create value through strong relationships, efficient systems, and continuous growth in both team and organizational settings.
