More about me

Howdy, I'm Ryan Thill, a junior at Texas A&M studying Industrial Distribution Engineering with a business minor. The short version: I can sell better than most engineers and engineer better than most salespeople. In February 2026, I won first place in the Gold Bracket at the University of Toledo Invitational Sales Competition, a national event with 144+ students from 36+ universities, a week after getting out of the ER for kidney stones. I closed a website redesign for Winston Water Cooler, a $750M company, as a solo freelancer. I co-authored Automation 2035: Mastering the Tech Revolution with RS Americas. I built PESTER, an AI-powered follow-up system that's earned me three startup offers and an invitation from TAMU's Dean of AI to help lead an agentic AI workshop. I also built Project Nexus, my own personal AI operating system that runs my pipeline, planning, and outreach. Right now, I'm a VAS Technical Intern at RS Americas, co-ideating automation sector strategy with VP Scott Jayes.

Outside of that, I co-founded SEED (Society of Engineering Education & Development), where I run the sponsorship team: outreach, relationships, and closing. I serve as a strategic advisor at AggieX, a $10M-funded entrepreneurial hub at A&M. In Fall 2025, I was Head Coach of TAMU's Advanced Technical Sales Team, overseeing four lab sections and around 120 students. Long-term, I'm building toward selling robotic automation at the territory or regional level for a major player in the industry, ideally helping build out that sector before running it. Robotics and automation are reshaping how the world manufactures and moves goods, and that's where I plan to be the person people call.
