More about me
Howdy, I'm Ian Linenberger, an Industrial Distribution student at Texas A&M University and a founding member of SEED.
I'm a competitive, analytical, and well-rounded professional with hands-on experience across technical sales, engineering, and materials development. From supporting high-pressure materials R&D and failure analysis at Alpine Polytech to coaching almost 100 peers in advanced technical sales competitions, I thrive in environments that demand both technical depth and strong communication. At A&M, I’ve played a role in mentoring and developing students through the TIES Sales Showdown, helping competitors refine their approach to complex, customer-facing sales challenges.
My experience spans both the technical and commercial sides of engineering. I’ve worked directly with elastomers, plastics, and composites under extreme conditions, contributed to equipment qualification and failure analysis, and gained hands-on fabrication experience through machining and welding. At the same time, I’ve developed a strong foundation in technical sales; breaking down complex systems, communicating value clearly, and competing at a high level in fast-paced sales environments.
My long-term goal is to build a career that blends technical problem-solving with real-world application, whether in technical sales or hands-on engineering roles. I aim to develop into a professional who can both understand complex systems and deliver impactful solutions, ultimately contributing to teams and organizations operating at a high level.
