More about me

My name is Chelsea Wellmann, I am a Junior Finance major, and I was born and raised in College Station. I love being a first gen Aggie, as both my parents went to TCU (sorry mom and dad). I am passionate about Aggies helping Aggies which has led me to be a part of SEED. Participating in TIES as a competitor, I achieved Second Place in the Fall 2025 competition. As a student coach in Spring 2026 I achieved the No Wo(Man) Left Behind award for having the most students in the Semifinals round of TIES. Returning to TIES as an officer is truly a privilege I don’t take lightly. I am eager to be involved with this community, which encourages growth and excellence.

In addition to SEED, I am involved in the Mays Sales Team and Sales Club. Being able to cross pollinate my sales knowledge between the two organizations has sharpened my abilities in unique ways. Additionally, I participate in the Maroon Fund Club. This is an equity fund run completely by students, and our current portfolio sits at a $65,000 valuation. On a broader scale, I enjoy civic involvement and friendship. This has led me to be a discourse facilitator for the Aggie Lyceum; a new university program aimed at encouraging citizenship behaviors. Off campus I am involved in Greek life as a member of the Chi Omega Xi Kappa chapter. When I am not pursuing my academic goals, I enjoy spending time traveling, hiking, or hanging out with my cat Theo. I am excited to be a witness to others and my own personal growth through this organization!
