Brooke Birdsong
Vice President of Internal Affairs
Class of 2027 | Mansfield, TX
More about me
Howdy! I’m Brooke Birdsong, an Industrial Distribution student at Texas A&M University from Mansfield, TX.
I am honored to serve as Vice President of Internal Affairs, a role that allows me to apply my skills in team leadership and coordination, technical sales, and member development. Through my experience as a Technical Sales Coach this past semester, I have grown significantly in both technical sales and leadership, while also strengthening my ability to build relationships with our industry partners. These experiences have been instrumental in preparing me for a career in sales and supporting the continued growth of SEED as a developing organization.
A pivotal part of my journey has been the TIES Sales Showdown, where I placed 4th in Fall 2025. That experience helped me find my footing in Industrial Distribution and pushed me to grow both personally and professionally. It challenged me to step outside my comfort zone and develop confidence as both a student and a leader.
I am now excited to play an active role in expanding SEED through the TIES Sales Showdown, the new TIES Operations & Logistics Competition, the Lean Manufacturing Competition, and various internal member events. In my role, I work closely with Marketing, TIES Operations, TIES Sales, Lean Manufacturing, Corporate Relations, and the Executive Secretary. I am inspired by the dedication of these officers and look forward to supporting their initiatives and helping bring their goals to life this year.
Outside of campus, I run my small business, Birdie’s Buttons and Blossoms, specializing in gameday buttons and floral arrangements. I am also an active member of Grace Bible Church – Southwood Campus and enjoy spending time with my family, who are my strongest supporters and greatest source of encouragement.
I strive to extend that same support to those around me, as I believe success is built through both the support you give and the support you receive. Long-term, I aim to build a career rooted in leadership, team development, and strategic problem-solving, where I can contribute to high-performing organizational outcomes and continued growth.
