More about me
Howdy! I’m Ana Nava, a second-generation Aggie and Industrial Distribution student at Texas A&M University with a strong interest in relationship-driven sales, team development, and emerging technologies—especially within the medical and motorsport industries. As an Advanced Technical Sales Student Coach, I’ve gained hands-on experience guiding students through complex sales scenarios, helping them think critically about customer challenges, and improving how they communicate value. This role has pushed me to become more adaptable in conversations, sharpen my problem-solving skills, and lead by example while supporting others’ growth.
In addition to my academic experience, I’ve built strong teamwork, organization, and customer service skills through my role at Cheddar’s Scratch Kitchen, where I ensure accuracy, efficiency, and a positive customer experience in a fast-paced environment while also supporting the training of new team members. These experiences have helped me balance multiple responsibilities while staying detail-oriented and adaptable.
On campus, I serve as the Sales Competition Team Lead Officer for the Society of Engineering Education & Development (SEED), coordinating logistics for national competitions, mentoring team members, and helping prepare students to succeed in competitive sales environments. I am also an active member of the Professional Association for Industrial Distribution (PAID) and participate in community and leadership development through St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
Long term, I aim to build a career where I can create value for customers, strengthen relationships, and continue developing in competitive, innovation-driven industries.
